The Question is:
Are there existing text libraries that contain Epson escape codes for the
different character per inch settings?
The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard is not particularly aware of the general
availability of device control libraries or library modules for
particular third-party printers from Compaq OpenVMS Engineering,
nor the availability of these libraries or modules via media or
mechanisms such as the OpenVMS Freeware (which might be a useful
spot, should these libraries be available), nor the availability
of these libraries on non-Compaq OpenVMS websites.
The OpenVMS Wizard is also not particularly familiar with the set
of control sequences that are used and expected by Epson printers.
That said, the folks at the Compaq Customer Support Center might
well be familiar with device control libraries and Epson printers.
(Or they might not...) Additionally, check for any available
websites with examples or device control libraries.
