The Question is:
With TCPIP v5.0a, is there a permanent TNA or BG device similar to the
permanent NTY device offered by Process Software's MultiNet?
(With MultiNet, you can specify that a NTY device persist after the telnet
connection is closed). So far I have been able to find only
one reference to the term "TNA permanent or temporary". This is on page 4-71
of the Digital TCP/IP User's guide (it's a footnote).
Regards
Marie
The Answer is :
Please see the documentation around the TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS
TELNET command CREATE_SESSION.
Alternatively -- depending on what you are up to -- bump the channel
count in the device UCB.
