The Question is:

 
Is there a patch available to allow disks that
return SCSI-3 inquiry data to be recognized by
VMS 7.1? The disk in question is a 72 Gb Seagate.

The Answer is :

 
  SCSI-3 device capabilites are included in OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2 and
  later, and are available with V6.2 with ALPSCSI07_062 and later.
