The Question is:

I have an LP27 printer connected to an AS800 through a DECserver 250.

I use TCP/IP (UCX) for printing.

What other configuration could I have to my AS800?

I need an impact printer with pin-feed for multi-ply, continuous forms. What I
no longer need is high speed volume printing.

The Answer is :

Most any IP-capable Compaq or third-party printer that meets your
particular printing requirements can likely be used. For details
on setting up for third-party printing, please see topic 1020 and
  related topics.
