The Question is:
Is it true that there's a bug in Com for OpenVMS so that the following doesn't
work...
A DCOM client on VMS and a DCOM server on NT both run in unauthenticated mode.
I can get the reverse to work, Server on VMS and client on NT. If this is a
bug, any idea when it will be fixed? Our solution seems to be to license the
Advanced Server for VMS and run in authenticated mode...right?
The Answer is :
You will need to load and start Advanced Server, but do not require a
license for this use -- please see the COM documentation for details.
