The Question is:
Had a question concerning job queue managers We are running a two node
cluster ( 4100s ) and there are some requirements to run batch jobs on
specific nodes. Would I gain anything by creating specific queue managers on
each node for the batch jobs wile
still maintaining a COMMON queue manager for printers and generic batch job
queues. - Will be upgradding to VMS 7.2 soon.
Thanks

The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard would maintain one queue management file for the
nodes in this configuration and would target specific batch queues
for execution on specific nodes. You can run multiple queue managers
from the same queue management database -- up to five queue managers
are supported per database -- but this is not particularly related to
the targeting of individual batch queues to specific nodes.
