The Question is:
When power on the consol(serial port) appear
no operate system configuration find
.............
It seems all configuration lost.
How to setup the configuration again,
or where I can find more information?
The Answer is :
Please see the hardware owner's manual for whichever Alpha system,
and (if reinstallation is needed) the OpenVMS Installation and Upgrade
Manual. If this problem is a result of a hardware problem on this
particular Alpha system, also please consider a call to your hardware
service organization.
Without details on the particular Alpha system, what might have happened
to this system, the boot sequence, the console firmware version, and the
existing general system configuration, a more specific answer to the
question is not feasible -- the specified "no operate system
configuration" error message and variations are not SRM console messages
that the OpenVMS Wizard are immediately familiar with.
