The Question is:
How do I remove a patch that was previously installed in the system? I am using
a Alpha1000 server with OpenVMS v7.1-H2 and the command which I install the
patch was @sys$update:vmsinstal <kit> <kit location>
The Answer is :
Either through (if provided) a drop ECO procedure or through the
restoration of a BACKUP made prior to the application of the ECO.
Though please move to OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2, and please move off of
OpenVMS Alpha V7.1, V7.1-1H1, and V7.1-1H2 -- V7.1-2 includes a new
mechanism for ECO kits (PCSI), as well as also including a number of
updates and ECO kits that target these older releases.
