Access to RSX-11 Compatibility Mode?

The Question is:

 
How can I add RSX-11M Compatibility support to my VMS V7.2 installation?  In
 particular, I need to be able to assemble old PDP-11 assembly language
 programs using a vax utility that uses "MCR MAC ...", to envoke the RSX-11M
 image.
Can this still be done under VMS v7.2?

The Answer is :

 
  Please check with the folks at Mentec, the maintainers of the RSX-11
  environment for OpenVMS VAX.
 
  The OpenVMS Wizard would encourage a review of the Macro11 code, and
  porting it (if feasible) to C or other higher-level language.
