The Question is:
Using tcpip v.5.0a I am trying to replace pathworks print service with LPD. It
all works OK except that I get a LF with every FF that I write from my
application. I am pretty sure that the extra LF is being added by the LPR
print symbiont. Multinet has a
print option called NOFFLF. Is there a similar switch in TCPIP/LPD or some
other way of fixing this ?

Assuming topic 4811 and the TCPIP$LPD_SETUP_NOFF mechanisms do not assist
you here -- you do not mention the target platform for LPD nor specifics
of the printing configuration -- please contact the folks at the Compaq
Customer Support Center directly for assistance.
