You also referenced documentation, and that manual says:
"The RMT server fully implements the UNIX commands rdump and rrestore and the
OpenVMS commands MOUNT, BACKUP, COPY, and EXCHANGE."
While your response and the documentation pertain to the UNIX rdump and
rrestore commands, I am unable to find any description in any form of how to
use the referenced OpenVMS MOUNT, BACKUP, COPY, or EXCHANGE commands to access
a non-local RMT offered tap
e drive. Is it indeed possible to use these commands as documented, or is this
an error in the manual?
The Answer is :
Then OpenVMS Wizard is not aware of an RMT/RCD client in OpenVMS.
The OpenVMS Wizard has passed along a request that these be better
documented.
