The Question is:
Using the StorageWorks C.C. ver 2.1 to monitor RA450's, we have found that when
a tape drive (TZ87) is installed in the RA450, we always get a 'warning'
condition for the systems status. The tape functions properly but does not
show up in the 'device view
' of C.C. How can we correct this situation so the systems status only reports
true problems. I'm not worried about seeing the tape drive image in the device
view, but I do want to be able to scan for problems by looking at the C.C.
devices tree (which al
l show 'warnings' now!). Please help!
The Answer is :
Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, as details of
the configuration and of the error will be required. (And as the
OpenVMS Wizard is not familiar with the StorageWorks software.)
