Third-party hardware? (dataset hangup)

The Question is:

 
Since we've upgraded to version 6.2 (from 5.5) we've had Data set hangup
 problems with our Data Products Typhoon 30 printer.This printer is on the
 network via an internal server port which resembles a decserver and uses the
 lat protocol.The queue is creat
ed like any other vax queue.......Why is this happening?
 


The Answer is :

 
  Unclear.  Check with the maintainer(s) of the particular widgets involved.
  The OpenVMS Wizard is aware of at least one third-party terminal server
  device that required a firmware upgrade due to problems found in the LAT
  implementation used within the particular device.
