The Question is:
Is there any limitation in sharing thru Advanced Server 7.2A a NFS device made
available to this system? Systems run OpenVMS 7.2 and 7.2-1 with TCP/IP 5.0A.
Also is there still a limitation on the size offiles in NFS devices? They could
not go over 2GB in previous versions.
The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard would typically not consider sharing NFS-accessed
devices via Advanced Server and SMB (and would also not consider such
a configuration to be supported), prefering to make this storage
available directly via NFS or directly via SMB -- and not via SMB
serving the NFS serving the served storage.
