The Question is:
A batch job has been in Aborting state for 4 days. I cannot find it's
associated process (so I can kill it), and cannot delete the entry. How can I
get rid of the batch job ?
I have not found an answer to this in FAQ, or
in different searches on DSN. Your help would be appreciated.
KQ.
The Answer is :
You will probably end up restarting the queue manager to clear this.
(Pending a restart, you could widen the number of slots in the queue
and simply leave this job latent until a restart is convenient.)
Please also move to at least OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2, or to V7.2-1.
(A number of fixes were incorporated in these releases.)
