The Question is:
We would like to use the monitor command and more particulary :
$monitor mode/flush_interval=30/summary=fic.sum
in order to exploit CPU occupation.
The file is written a first time and never updated. So we won't be able to work
with this file.(However the monitor help tell us that data are written on the
disk at each interval! )
Is there a solution to update this file at regular intervals ?
An other question is about the use of the command : $ monitor/record which
generate a binary file.
How could we decode this file to extract informations ?
Thanks for your answer.
The Answer is :
Please see the exe$getspi information (an undocumented API) discussed
elsewhere here in Ask The Wizard -- pointers to the related SPI examples
on the OpenVMS Freeware website are available here, as well.
