I am currently running VMS 5.5 on a VAX 4000-300. What is the upgrade path to
 go from here to
OVMS 7.1 ?

  The OpenVMS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section entitled
  "MGMT16. What are the OpenVMS version upgrade paths?" will be
  of interest.
 
  An upgrade to V7.2 is recommended, as V7.1 is entering Prior
  Version Support (PVS) status.  Information on Prior Version
