Help with UNIX socket programming, DECserver?

The Question is:

 
I am using  decserver 300's and 700's to acccess UNIX servers. What I want
to do is somehow find out what decserver port or socket I am logged into while
talking to the UNIX boxes. Is there some way in a "C" program I can access
that information? If so could you give me some examples?

  Please contact the appropriate UNIX Wizard for assistance with this
  question, as you have reached the OpenVMS Wizard and OpenVMS does not
  appear to be involved here -- the OpenVMS Wizard is not particularly
  familiar with UNIX C programming.  If this system is running the Compaq
  Tru64 UNIX operating system, please contact the Compaq Customer Support
