The Question is:
I want to send a SQL generated text file to Lotus Notes on my pc. When I run
$mail/subject="TEST" filename useraddress
the file contents are sent as the mail message not as an attachment. Articles
wiz_1332 and wiz_1770 are similar to this. You said add the text file to the
end of the mail message and send it, how do you do this.
The Answer is :
You can add the file by literally, simply, and directly adding the
text file to the end of the mail message, and sending it all.
If you wish to use MIME (which is how various mailers send attached
files), please upgrade to V7.2 or later, please acquire the current
MIME ECO kit, please check the provided MIME utility documentation,
and please check for the correct setting of the SFF stuff for the
TCP/IP Services V5.0A documentation.
In addition to topics 1332 and 1770, also please see 1341 and 2180.
