The Question is:
We have been successfully opening and writing to log files with shared access
so other processes can read the open log files. When we run our system using
Version 7.2-1 VMS the process crash when opening the file.
We develop our code using ADA. If we use earlyer versions of the runtime lib
this problem disapears but other problems occur.
The Answer is :
This might initially involve a (potential) problem with Ada or with an
underlying OpenVMS component. Please contact the Compaq Customer Support
Center directly for assistance, as a reproducer or other example code
will likely be very useful in resolving this.
