Thank for the info (4333) unfortunately it was un-helpful as I could not find
 any info in the FAQ, or any freeware listing, on JDBC for OpenVMS.
 
Do you have a more detailed pointer?
 

The Answer is :

 
  Interesting.  The current OpenVMS FAQ section entitled "SOFT1. Where can
  I find freeware/shareware/software for OpenVMS?" definitely does include
  a reference to an application catalog of available partner applications
  for OpenVMS at the top of the section, and the specified (and searchable)
  catalog definitely does include references to (currently 5) available
  JDBC-related packages for OpenVMS Alpha.
