The Question is:
Part of our mail system appears not to work - internal mail within our site
works, internal to external mail works but external to internal mail does not
Mail that is sent into our site is NOT bouncing back to the sender.
How can we easily confirm the transport protocols are working properly?
The Answer is :
This can depend greatly on a large and varied number of factors, not
the least of which include the SMTP transport and the local (assumed)
IP network configuration, the firewall, etc. Without the details of
the local environment, no answer is particularly feasible.
