Analyzing shadow set volumes?

The Question is:

 
Can I run an analyze/disk/repair on a shadow set or do I have to break the
 shadow set first and then run the ana/disk/repair on one of the physical
 drives???
 
We are using host based shadowing.

The Answer is :

 
  ANALYZE/DISK/REPAIR works just fine on shadow set volumes.
 
  OpenVMS host-based shadowing is implemented in the device
  drivers; below the level of the file system processor
  (the XQP).  Accordingly, shadow set volumes expected to
  be transparent to application programs.
