The Question is:
If I log in a VMS node using eXcursion (V.7.1) I don't receive new VMS mail
notifications anymore. If I log in using DECnet I get the notifications. What
is the work arround?
The Answer is :
Notifications of new MAIL are entirely clueless as to the type of
network transport used to access OpenVMS, look for differences in
the explicit (eg: via SYLOGIN or LOGIN) or the default settings
(eg: via the default terminal system parameter settings) for
broadcast classes (eg: SHOW BROADCAST) and look at the terminal
broadcast (eg: SET TERMINAL/BROADCAST) setting.
