DECnet Phase IV vs DECnet-Plus?

The Question is:

 
I will shortly be upgrading to V7.2-1 from 6.2
I know that I will need to change my support contract to stay at Decnet phase
 iv but apart from that is there any advantage of moving to Decnet plus ?

The Answer is :

 
  There are various advantages to moving to DECnet-Plus, salient among
  these is the ability to operate DECnet over an IP link.  There are
  also a few disadvanges -- increased memory requirements being one,
  and a different (and initially unfamiliar) management command interface
  being another.
 
  When considering this, please acquire and read the DECnet-Plus
  documentation -- this step will greatly simplify the migration.
