The Question is:

 
Dear Wizard,
I have to make a data-link between Open VMS Alpha and Windows NT Servers.
I would like to know if there is already a software for real time data exchange.
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  There are a variety of options available for network communucations,
  depending on exactly what you mean by "real-time".  MessageQ, RTR,
  TCP/IP, DECnet, NFS, SMB, and a variety of other middleware and/or
  communications packages are available, depending on the timing, on
  reliability and recoverability requirements, and a number of other
