The Question is:
Hi
Many years ago there was a book called something like "VMS Internals and Data
Structures". Do you know of a paper or web based version for VMS 7?
Thanks very much
Malcolm
The Answer is :
Commercial publications and books are seldom made freely available in
downloadable format, for what should be obvious (commercial) reasons.
The OpenVMS Alpha Internals and Data Structures Manual is presently
available from sources including Amazon (www.amazon.com) and from the
book's publisher, the Butterworth-Heinemann Digital Press imprint
(www.bh.com). An update -- covering the OpenVMS Alpha Version V7.0
scheduling, process control, and kernel threads -- is also available.
The OpenVMS Wizard believes that the OpenVMS VAX version of the OpenVMS
internals and data structures manual -- last updated for (as it was then
known) VAX/VMS V5.2 -- is no longer available in print.
For other bibliographic-related information, please see the references
in the OpenVMS FAQ.
