Remote console? (lights out)

» close window

The Question is:

I am trying to setup a 'lights out' shop on the west coast and need to redirect
ALL messages, {VMS & NON-VMS} sent to OPA0: to a disk file for tracking
purposes. I will also need to use OPA0: as a dial-in port for remote
 management if/when the network is
down. Any suggestions?

The Answer is :

Various available remote-console applications can be used for this
purpose -- the remote console system is the point for dial-in
connections (which avoids exposing the console lines via modem),
and can also log and can monitor and control the (connected) system
  consoles.

For information on the various available applications, please see the
available CSA applications catalog. (via http://www.compaq.com/csa/)
