Logging of an OpenVMS upgrade?

The Question is:

 
I am trying to figure out how set up a draft printer thru the printer port on an Alpha 2100.
I want to be able to capture the screen on the console terminal during software upgrades. Is this acheived thru the Console command mode?
 

The Answer is :

 
  It is usually easiest to use a terminal with an attached printer,
  or (if you can still find one) a TTY-style printing terminal.
 
  Other available approaches include simply using another OpenVMS
  system, and a SET HOST/DTE/LOG from one serial port (wired) to
