The Question is:
How can I get rid of all OPCOM messages during startup - except those, if any, that really need attention? I want to display a selection menu on the blue screen and the OPCOM messages clutters the menu.

The Answer is :
That depends highly on what you mean by "needs attention".
Various groups of messages can be disabled (via the application that
generates the message, via the logging utility, via SYLOGICALS, or
via REPLY), and OPCOM console output itself can be entirely disabled.
