The Question is:

 
Sir i have questions.
We have VAX Digital VAX machine 6300 series 10 and open mvs 5.5.4
1)Can we connect widows NT or 98 application with VAX machine and how?
2)Is there  any ODBC driver to establish connection with VAX machine  ?

The Answer is :

 
  Yes, via IP, NFS, DECnet, PATHWORKS, SAMBA, OpenVMS Disk Services, etc.
  In addition, more recent OpenVMS versions support COM and DCOM access.
  (OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 or V5.5-2H4 is rather old.)
 
  Yes, please see the existing ODBC discussions.  ODBC access is available
