We intend to replace our old VAXSTATIONS with Alpha VMS systems and will
still need to run programs in VAX VMS binary form. What is the Software
that runs on a Alpha VMS workstation that will allow use of a VAX VMS
program.
The Answer is :
The translation tool is DECmigrate, but there are definite limitations
on what OpenVMS VAX images can be translated, and on what support is
available for DECmigrate itself -- the OpenVMS Wizard strongly recommends
moving to native tools and OpenVMS Alpha images whenever possible.
