The Question is:
I am trying to set up the fonts to run cde. I am pulling the fonts from a
digital unix machine but the nfs mount and nfs does not recognize them. Any
help would be appreciated
The Answer is :
DECwindows CDE is available only on OpenVMS Alpha.
DECwindows Motif is available on both OpenVMS VAX and OpenVMS Alpha.
DECwindows -- both the Motif and the CDE interface -- includes its own
fonts.
It is unclear what sort of customization you are attempting, or if you
are trying to port CDE to OpenVMS VAX. In either case, this is well
beyond what can be easily discussed here -- please contact the Compaq
