The Question is:
I have 2 DMCC Workstations with OVMS 7.1-2 and the same Application
Software.
For Print entire Screen I use '$ xwd -disp host:0.0 -root -out outfile' on
both WS.
Same Def. in both WS for:
- Security in Session Manager;
- DECW$SERVER_ACCESS_ALLOWED.DAT;
- DECW$SERVER_ACCESS_TRUSTED.DAT;
- Sys$LOGIN:DECW$SMB_security.dat.
One WS Funtion is ok, the other shows error:
XLIB: connection to host:0.0 refused by server
XLIB: client ist not authorized to connect to server.
The 100 Dollar question: Whats the difference ???
The Answer is :
In appears that one of the two systems is enabled for access
on the remote system, the other is not.
Please see the security menu for details, and check the DECwindows
server log for details of the particular incoming connection -- check
the IP address, the particular upper or lowercasing used, and the
correct address to node name translation.
