Calculating PAGEFILE size?

The Question is:

 
Paragraph 15.4.3 on page
http://www.openvms.digital.com:8000/72final/6017/6017pro_070.html#calc_page_
size of the OpenVMS system manager manual about "Calculating Page File Size"
indicates that the pagefile size is independent of the no. of processes on
an
 Alpha but not on a VAX. Please explain.

The Answer is :

 
  This is an error in the documentation.  MAXPROCESSCNT is included
  in the calculation of the required PAGEFILE size on both platforms.
