The Question is:
I have a new install on an Alpha DS20E of VMS 7.2-1 and Pathworks 6.0b. My
NT machines are complaining when they use this server to authenticate logins
or when I access them via Windows Explorer that the Alpha cannot
authenticate the login or the limit o
n the number of concurrent connections has been reached.
The Answer is :
The OpenVMS Wizard is unable to determine the particular problem based
on the information provided. The reported symptoms could result from
an inadequate number of sessions configured (qv: PWCONFIG), insufficient
or misconfigured client and/or server licensing, or some other problem.
The OpenVMS Wizard recommends that you contact your software support
organization or the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance in
resolving this problem.
