Determining cause of SS$_EXQUOTA error?

The Question is:

 
Are there any systematic ways to determine which process quota has been
exceeded when a process exits with SYSTEM-F-EXQUOTA?

  Monitoring the process quotas at the time of the failure -- from
  another process -- is a commonly-applied technique used to determine
