The Question is:
I have a problem with rsh and rexec in UCX. works fine except when everyone
logs in at 7:30 am. If I ucx>disable service rsh; enable service rsh, users
can open a window on a UNIX workstation from VMS. I increased the "limit" in
rsh from 5 to 12, with no
change. This is a fairly static environment with the same number of users
and type of usage. Kind of stumped.
The Answer is :
Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center -- information on
the particular TCP/IP Services (version, ECO level) will be required.
The OpenVMS Wizard would recommend moving to TCP/IP Services V4.2 plus
the current ECO. The OpenVMS Wizard would also recommend looking up
the previous discussions around increasing the numbers of services
available here in Ask The Wizard.
