TCP/IP NFS V2 or V3 support?

» close window

The Question is:

Dear Wizard,

Is NFS V3 supported with TCP/IP V5?
Unix folks tell me it should be preferred
to V2 for various reasons(performance, reliability, security,...)

If not, what is a fast, reliable and secure
alternative to serve several hundert GB4s
of UNIX disks???

cheers
Robert

The Answer is :

As of this writing (June 2001), current TCP/IP Services offers NFSv3
Server support, with NFSv3 Client support is planned for inclusion
into a future release of the TCP/IP Services package. NFSv2 client
  support is presently available.
