The Question is:
Is there a vidio addapter cable that can be used on a VAXstation 3100 Model
48 that will alow a VGA monitor to be used.
A vr299 color Monitor that we have is very dim.
We plan to migrate a all NT based system. We want to invest in a 21"
monitor that we can use on the system we plan to go to. A Digital/Compac
Tech. that was here said we could get a addapter cable but we are at a loss
to locate one.

Some Compaq multi-synch video monitors are compatible of operating with
the synch-on-green RGB 3-BNC signaling used on these older VAXstation
systems, please contact Compaq at 1-800-DIGITAL for assistance. You
will need to identify the specific graphics controller used on the
orignal system, to ensure compatibility with the monitor.
