Ask the Wizard Questions

answers to long list of install questions?

The Question is:

Our university has a Digital Alpha OpenVMS server that they are trying
to install TCP/IP on. The installation program asks a humongous list
of questions which are sys op doesn't know how to answer. Is there
any source to the answers of these questions that I could forward to
him? If there is not is their someone who would know the answers?

The Answer is:

The Digital TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Installation and Configuration Guide,
as well as the Concepts and Planning manual, are required reading. The
answers to many of the questions will involve asking whoever is responsible
for your network interfaces (Internet Service Provider, etc.) There is no
single set of answers to the configuration questions.

Digital offers product configuration and installation services...
