Safe disposal of old stuff

The Question is: 


We have sone DEC VT320 and DEC VT420 terminal that no longer function.
Are there environmental concern for disposal?  What business unit will
answer there kinds of questions?

The Answer is: 

    There are some companizes that specialized in disposal of used computer
    equipment.  You need to contact one and let them handle your stuff.
