UCX: UUENCODE

The Question is: 

We are employing TeamLinks as our mail system on our VMS VAX. We need
to send Internet E-mail . Our TeamLinks mail is not handling
attachments correctly. I believe this may be due to the mail not being
uuencoded. Is there a VMS or TeamLinks application to do uuencoding?

The Answer is: 

  Digital TCP/IP Services (UCX) includes this capability.  Copies
  are also available on the freeware CD-ROM, and as part of the
  POSIX package.
