The Question is:

After a SCSI bus problem I have a disk with a lost file
that has an incorrect file spec. How can I get rid of this
file ? The ANALYZE/DISK Utility has the following result:

DI16 >analyze/disk/repair/confirm dka300:

-SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file
%ANALDISK-W-LOSTHEADER, file (237,2929,1)
        not found in a directory
Repair this error? (Y or N): y
%ANALDISK-E-ENTERLOST, file (237,2929,1) []
        error entering file in directory
-SYSTEM-W-BADFILENAME, bad file name syntax
DI16 >

          Regards

The Answer is:

      On the freeware CD (or web site) you will find a utility called
    "DFU". It will allow you to delete a file by specifying its FID.
    You could therefore remove this file with the command:

        $ MCR DFU DELETE $16$DKA300:/FILE=(237,2929,1)
