When using DECNet to copy files between 2 VAXen,
I notice that the file date is truncated
(the .00 of a second are reset to zero).
This is a little irritating when I'm trying to comapare
files on different machines.
Is there a reason for this and can it be avoided ??
The Answer is:
The reason is that the DECnet FAL (File Access Listener) protcol does not
include the hundredths of seconds. There's really no way around this.
