Ask the Wizard Questions

Intel emulation?

The Question is:

Dear Wizard,

I am a product engineer for a software product that we have been
running on Vax and Alpha systems.

As such, many of our customers have purchased DEC hardware.

We have recently ported our software to the NT-Intel platform. My
question is this:

Is there a software Intel Emulator application that would allow me to run
my companies software product on my customers existing VAX/Alphas
running OpenVMS?

Thanks,

The Answer is:

Yes, SoftWindows. Also see the information on the Affinity
enhancement work located at URL h71000.www7.hp.com.
