Ask the Wizard Questions

to print queue?

The Question is:

is it possible to redirect the printer port on a vax terminal
(320,420,510) so that the output goes to a system
print queue when the "print screen" key is hit

thanks

The Answer is:

is used to print on a locally-attached printer on
   the VT terminal.

If one wishes to use to queue the printout to a
non-locally-attached printer, one is usually left wiring the local
printer port back to an application image that receives and requeues
the print job. OpenVMS does not provide this application image.
