Ask the Wizard Questions

UCX REXEC configuration

The Question is:

We are running UCX on a VAX 4000/105A.
When we attempt to run more than 3 rexec processes the
service rejects the request. I have tried to remove and
define the REXEC service, using the SET NOSERVICE command.
When the service is recreated the new limit never appears

The Answer is:

Do you use the UCX SET SERVICE REXEC /LIMIT=x to up the maximum number of
links? You need to DISABLE SERVICE REXEC and ENABLE SERVICE REXEC
the service for the change to take effect.
