VMS license expired

The Question is: 

Hi, Me and a friend got an old Vaxstation running 5.2 i think.
Now this OS seems to have expired. Is this possible, does the
operating system "time out" ?

Thanks

The Answer is: 

No.  Licenses granted to educational institutions did have expiration dates,
but otherwise a license for a given version of a product does not expire and
the operating system has no "timeout" code in it.
