Ask the Wizard Questions

TCP/IP TOS

The Question is: 

Could you please tell me if TOS (type of service) is
supported with in the UCX TCP/IP bundle that is provided
with NAS 150.

If it is not supported, are there any plans to incoperate
TOS support into the UCX product?

Can you supply a list of alternate TCP/IP for Open VMS
products that are avaliable from Digital which do
support TOS?

Is it possible to get a credit on the TCP/IP UCX product
that ships as part of NAS 150 if one of these other
products are purchased ?

The Answer is: 

TOS is not presently supported.

Since this is the first request for that I have seen, it has not previously
been on our list of requirements for a future release.  We shall add it to
potential new features/functions to add.

I know of no other packages on OpenVMS which offer the functionality.
Digital does not sell other TCP/IP implementations which run on OpenVMS, to
the best of my knowledge.
